Pagpapawalang Bisa ng Kasal (Annulment) mas Mabilis at Libre na Ngayon sa Pilipinas

Marriage is also called in catholic as Matrimony. This holy sacrament unites a man and a woman as one in God. On the ceremony, the couple recite these vow: “I, _, take you, _, for my lawful wife/husband, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer.”  But how come some of the married couples break their vows?

We tried our best on finding a lifetime partner, a spouse, a family. Some are less fortunate on this matter but others took it for granted. Some married on the early age because of unwanted pregnancy. For a catholic, marriage is sacred sacrament that can not be ignored. Marriage is like planting a tree. You need to nurture it so it can grow and bare fruits.

But some of the married catholics spend a lot of money, extravagance, popularity, and fame on their church wedding and ending up in break up. How come this is happening to some? Do they not love each other?

On the past years annulment is a long term process in the Philippines. “Pope Francis announced the the decision of shortening the process of annulment in the church wedding. The new catholic church annulment cases will be simplified and free. Archbishop Emeritus Oscar Cruz together with Catholic Bishop Conference of the Phil (CBCP) declared that they are applauding the news.”

“However, According to Atty. Lorna Kapunan, the said annulment is only for the church but in the eyes of the civil law they are still maried.”

“This news will benefit those catholic couple who are separated and living with other partners. On a catholic point of view, they will not be living in sin.”

Marriage is not a game. That is when you know that you are loosing you already want to quit. There is no game over. Learn to fight and be the person who wholeheartedly answer “i do” on your sacred ceremony.
