Bureau of Customs Seized Billion Worth of FAKE GOODS in Bulacan You Might Bought One of These!

Made in EXACT imitation with the intention to deceive or defraud people, counterfeit items worth billions of pesos were seized by Bureau of Customs in Tabe, Guiguinto, Bulacan few days ago.

According to Bureau of Customs Commissioner Nicanor Faeldon, the warehouse is not just an ordinary but a SUPER WAREHOUSE that has a big plant which can even distribute fake goods NATIONWIDE!

The plant was using machines and equipment which is able to manufacture LOTS of different fake products.

Products such as soaps, shampoos, cigarettes, deodorant, toiletries, candies, lubricants, motor oils, insect repellent, used clothing, shoes, and even MEDICINES!

They confirmed that genuine brands they imitate were Palmolive, Dove, Sunsilk, Creamsilk, Safeguard, Cetaphil, Marlboro, Gucci shoes and among others.

Counterfeit good is illegal and prohibited under the Republic Act No. 8293 or the Intellectual Property Code of the Philippines.

Owners of the super warehouse counterfeiting the products were William, Sandy and Isagani but they are still looking into the real identities.

This is quite frightening because they can impose dangers to human’s health. You cannot easily determine if they were “fake or not” due to its very close similarities. The quality of counterfeited items are quite fearsome.

According to Intellectual Property Office chief Ricardo Blancaflor, “Many actually have suffered stroke because of the use of fake *** enhancers.”

Faeldon said that the Bureau of Custom’s relentless efforts to suppress the proliferation of fake products were meant to protect consumers, local manufacturers and the public at large.

Let’s be SAFE from counterfeited products as soon as you can notice one!
